My camera isn't working?
I have a fuji camera, and a little while ago I dropped it and now it says LENS ERROR. it turns on, but just comes up with lens error. I've lost the papers for the warranty, and as I've had it for a few yrs now I'm sure it's not covered anyway.
Not worth fixing, would be cheaper to replace. The warranty wouldn't cover abuse anyway. Dropping these delicate digicams usually results in camera death. Cameras have improved quite a bit in the last two or three years.

Honestly, the cost of fixing the lens for a camera like that is going to cost more than it would to just replace it. You can find a better quality camera for a decent price.

The cameras support face detection, automatic red-eye removal, and in-camera panorama stitching, but their image stabilization systems are digital only, a technology that doesn't provide the same level of blur-reduction as optical systems. The JX500 cuts the megapixels to 14 and the LCD to 2. The FinePix JX and AX series have been boosted with three new models, the JX580, JX500, and AX550. Both JX models will be available in red, blue, and black and should hit the street in February.
